JA4 repeatability proves stability, not that the profile matches the claimed browser. Only versioned probe evidence adjudicates identity. This row is the probe service's own classifier, which returns "unclassified" for any build missing from its dataset — which is why it is so often undecided. The locally asserted cipher-list comparison sits beside it and does not depend on that dataset.

Clearcote is a browser built for fingerprint coherence

It is a Chromium fork, maintained by the same people who wrote this reference. It ships as a compiled browser rather than as a stealth script injected into someone else's — which is a description of how it is built, and is not an argument about how it behaves on this check.

This audit takes no position on how Clearcote scores on TLS & the network layer checks, on this one, or anywhere else.
